Update Don't Give Up

Hey everyone. I know it has been a while since I last updated. Well I am now certified to interpret in Arkansas only a level 1 but hey its a level. I would have never thought I would be here at this point today. I am learning and growing so much in my sign language. I just keep getting many opportunities opening my way. I am helping teach an ASL class, and our students are so motivated and eager to learn. I just loving seeing them and how they want to learn so bad. I am glad God is directing my path sometimes I wonder will 'what if' but then I think God has it. God continues to lead me in new directions. I just love seeing what God is doing with my sign language. When I was growing up my parents always said I would be doing sign language and working with children. I always said I would not do that. Well this past week I worked and VBS and guess what I did. I worked with children and interpreted for them. God is doing many things and sometimes I just need to learn to listen.
So if you ever have a passion about something and you struggle or get discouraged. Don't Give Up! Keep going and do it. If you believe in yourself and set your mind to do it. YOU CAN!!!

Amazing!!!

WOW so much has happened since the last time I have updated. I have passed my SCPI that was a interview test that I did last year in order to get to the nest level in my schooling. Well I passed that we the 3rd from the top level. I have improved so much and it is amazing to see. I just recently took part of a test that I have to have to be certified and I passed it. I take the performance part at the end of April. I am excited to see what God is doing in my life. This past Sunday I signed a song at church and it was one I have practiced before and have done many times before but this time it was different. I had facial expression and everything. I had the Deaf individuals telling me how awesome I did and how I had confidence in myself. I have noticed that I have starting believing in myself more and also have more confidence. It has been a year now that God put my mentor and my sister in my life. She has helped me grow so much and improve. I know that God put her in my life for this reason and many others. Last year I would have never excepted doing what I am doing now and to have improved as much as I have. I thank God for putting her in my life to show me how to believe in myself and to get better.
